I was in 4th year of my engineering,the final year.I didn't even realize how the time passed by...!!!
All of us were talking,"this is the last year of our engineering we will enjoy a lot do this,do that,some said i will do M.tech,some MBA,some said we will crack PSU,some were mad after CAT and blah blah."
Then suddenly it was in the month of august i remember our placement officer called all the final year students to the auditorium & announced that the campus session for our batch(2008-2012) will start very soon...and gave us some tips how to prepare and what to do & what not to.
Then in the next week we received a mail from our college T&P Cell(Training & Placement Cell) that the first company which going to conduct campus for our batch is INFOSYS & from that the buzz of campus & job spread in our college...We bunked college for preparing for the campus but we hardly studied...!!!
Then came the most important day 12th SEPTEMBER,2012...the day of campus we were all set & ready...everything was ready starting from CVs and certificates to shining shoes & of course neat shaving(for boys :-p)...!!!
I was very much nervous because more than us our parents were excited as it was the Ist campus and that too Infy...!!
The written started english paper was lengthy & tough as usual..aptitude part was very easy....!!!The written got over and the tension of i may not be able to cleared it was pounding on...!!!
Then after 2 hrs the result was ready...The result was announced and the by God's grace i cleared it and many who didnt clear it shattered into tears..especially the gals...!!
I was very much happy because i knew clearing the written of infosys means you are almost 95% there...but in the same time i was sad too because on of my best friend didnt clear it...!!!
Then it was the time for PI as i said it is a cake way if you are average in speaking english...Then the PI ended it was short and nice...!!
The next day the result was announced and i along with 172 of our batch mates were selected...!!!
We celebrated a lot,i soon i got the result i called my mama & papa and gave them the news and they were even happier than me...!!!
Its was the being of a new journey...!!
